On May 5th, Saint Luke Society (SLS) conference took place between Korea and China in Shanghai, China. This was the first such meeting in eight years for Korean members to visit China. SLS Africa had its second medical seminar on the 16th of July 2022. On May 4th, 2022, the medical team of Saint Luke Society Latin America arrived in La Guajira, Colombia to conduct a 4-day medical mission in collaboration with NGO Jubilee Foundation Canada and Mission Life Colombia. Through the collaborative project, a total of 500 children in the poorest region of the Caribbean coast of northern Colombia received medical attention and treatments. On April 9th, Saint Luke Society Africa conducted its very first online medical webinar in an effort to evangelize medical students in Africa with the theme of hypertension management and the conflict between faith and medicine in the medical field. On May 9th, Saint Luke Society Latin America has successfully concluded the two-day medical mission in Paco Island, which is located 102km from the city of La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. On January 16th, 5pm (Korea local time), Saint Luke Society hosted the first online lecture of two for the 3rd Medical Dreamer, drawing 150 students from across the nation. SLS has been organizing Medical Dreamer every year and this is the 3rd one, which took place online. The 10th leadership seminar which, was hosted by Saint Luke Society concluded with overflowing grace. SLMG (Saint Luke Medical Group) BIO corporation is an R&D entity with its major focus on the efficacy of oriental medicine and pharmaceuticals. SLMG has been launched with a business plan to research and manufacture food and pharmaceuticals. Currently, the business has been incorporated and the transfer of the patent on dysuria is in process. The next goal is to register the business as a venture company.
