St. Luke Society held the first online conference for the new year with international leaders. The conference was led by Dr. Joseph Lee, the representative of SLS International.
During the conference, Dr. Lee shared three main plans for the year 2020, which are as below. First is to set up 1000 leaders and 10,000 members and to achieve the goal, SLS will establish leaders in G20 nations by the first quarter. The plan will be executed by having close communication and building a network with mission leaders and fellowship.
Another plan shared was to develop an education program for new members and leaders. Lastly, the plan was mentioned to establish clinics and hospitals in the USA, Europe, and Latin America.
In addition, dates for major gatherings were confirmed, such as leadership training in Dover to take place on the 3rd and 4th of April and SLS GA to take place on the 12th and 13th of September.
It was a time of casting a new vision and plan for SLS and leaders were greatly encouraged to also make plans of their own and execute them. The follow-up conference is scheduled to take place on January 10 where leaders will report on their mission plan.
