On June 22, 2024, Saint Luke Society (SLS) Myanmar successfully concluded a three-day discipleship training in the city of Myitkyina, which began on June 20th, 2024. The training aimed to raise leaders among the current SLS members in the city by equipping them with the Word and the vision of the Saint Luke Society through various activities.

The lectures covered topics including the resurrection of the Lord, the two disciples on the way to Emmaus, the life of Mary Magdalene, and Thomas. Additionally, individual mentoring sessions, prayer meetings, and ministry presentations were conducted throughout the training. The event concluded with a closing service and a testimonial session filled with overflowing grace.

Through the training, participants became firm in their calling to serve the Lord. One of them shared that her faith was strengthened through the messages and emphasized the importance of prioritizing the Lord and having faith rooted in the heart as a key to overcoming challenges when following Him as His disciple.

At the end of the training, SLS established four leaders, one of whom decided to serve SLS full-time thanks to the Lord. SLS prays for the mission in Myanmar to grow and raise many more disciples of the Lord.
