News

On September 1st, Saint Luke Society Latin America held the 1st anniversary service since the mission center was dedicated to the Lord a year ago in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Having witnessed the faithful work of God for the last year, members of SLS, leaders, and pastors of Olivet Assembly South America came together online and onsite to celebrate what the Lord has done through the mission center.

The service began with a welcoming remark, followed by an intercessory prayer given by Dr. Daniella Ortiz of SLS Colombia. The sermon was delivered by Pastor Simon Kim, the representative of the Olivet Assembly of South America. In the message, Pastor Kim mentioned that the Lord has come to bring us not only physical healing but also spiritual healing with eternal life. He emphasized the importance of the atonement of Christ and blessed the SLS mission center in Bolivia to spread the Gospel and bring healing to many souls.

The service was given in Spanish with English translation for the members and leaders joining from overseas. After the service, attendees cut a cake and celebrated God’s faithfulness with great joy. SLS Latin America gives thanks to the Lord and prays that the mission center continues to serve the purpose of training Christian medical students and professionals for expanding God’s Kingdom in the medical society.
