Following the successful video conference with members in Nigeria, Saint Luke Society (SLS) held another video conference with members in Russia on the weekend. Dr. Joseph Lee, the Representative of Saint Luke Society International, presided the meeting and a total of 8, including the representative of SLS Russia, joined the conference. During the meeting, Dr. Lee introduced the ministry and cast a big vision by explaining the history, future plans, and major activities of SLS. He also explained how SLS is different from any other medical organization, which is that SLS places a heavy focus on the Word of God and works with a gospel-oriented mind to change individuals, thus change the world. During the presentation, all the participants paid close attention and came to know about the ministry in detail. The conference concluded with a possible future online gathering and SLS HQ will have a discussion as to how to better take care of overseas members by giving them guidance and necessary education. Please pray that SLS can expand by utilizing the online platform as a useful evangelism tool.
