“The Awaken” is a prayer conference organized on June 3rd and 4th, 2023 to bring Christian medical practitioners together to pray and share the Word of God. The purpose of this conference was to foster unity among medical professionals, deepen their relationship with God, and encourage spiritual growth.
A total of 76 individuals registered for the program. During the conference, they fervently prayed for the healing of the sick, the fulfillment of God’s Word, and the expansion of the SLS mission. Testimonies of God’s goodness have already begun to emerge, serving as a testament to the program’s success.
In addition to its spiritual impact, SLS Africa utilized this conference as an opportunity to recruit health workers who possess a strong spiritual foundation for the mission. SLS Africa intends to hold regular prayer events like this to reach out to a wider audience of medical professionals, both as a means of evangelization and to enrich their spiritual lives through prayer.
