Overseas Mission

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and to the ends of the earth”

– Acts 1:8

St. Luke Society is dispatching the missionaries to the World endlessly, and is developing the dream of Medical Mission by establishing Saint Luke Society in each country following the Great Commandments of the Lord that is to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth.

We dispatched the missionaries in Europe, Africa and China, and the overseas mission has been expanding by starting to set up Saint Luke Society of United Kingdom in 2004 and of China in 2006. The department of overseas mission educates the missionaries and supports the Saint Luke Society that was built in overseas. We have been working so that Saint Luke Society can be established in each country and through the natives the mission can be fulfilled and Mission Medical hospital can be established. We have been developing and uniting each other through the regular online conference to search for the direction of mission for each country, and we have been trying to educate to the leaders.

We wish that we can dispatch more medical workers who has dream for Medical mission. We hope to share the blessing that we received to the every corner of the World. St. Luke Society of Korea has been serving and supporting with the human and material help to share the spiritual blessing that God is given to us. We will endlessly go and testify the Lord till Medical society of all worlds can be gospel-like.

GHO (Global Health Outreach)

St. Luke Society is established with a vision to save lives, going to the ends of the world with the talents and medical skills God has granted us.

Today, we have many dedicated medical organizations however, they often fail to minister continuously due to various situations, stumbling blocks and poor medical practice. Although most patients need continuous medical treatment the limited time of short term missions means medical treatment is halted in the middle of all things, resulting in a first aid style of treatment when what they need is long-term medical treatment. St. Luke Society is planning to build SLMC (Saint Luke Medical Center) in order to overcome this limited service of medical mission and provide consistent high quality treatment. The SLMC will be a firm base camp for medical ministries providing materials, human resources and technical support. Also, we plan to build up an international network around the world, building St. Luke Medical Centres and hospitals to educate and train, keeping up-to-date with new medical techniques and skills. For the souls who are willing to listen to the gospel while they are under our medical services, we will connect them with regional missionaries and ministers to be nurtured and raised continually in faith.

“not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD”

– Amos 8:11

The cause of famine of this age is not because there is no food to eat but because there is no true sharing. The reason that many are dying without any medical care while medical technology is greatly developing day by day is because there is no sharing of those who have. We wish God’s healing hands and the spirit of true sharing and serving revealed by Christ would be spread around the world through St. Luke Society.
