On January 11-12, 2025, SLS China organized its 2025 New Year Gathering in Hong Kong with the theme “Enlarge the Place of Your Tent Without Limits.” The event included an opening service, departmental reports, testimonies, a prayer meeting, Sunday service, and sightseeing. The main agenda occurred on January 11, with 20 SLS members in attendance.

Dr. Zheng Shunwen, the representative of SLS China, gave an opening service and preached on “Christian Self-Consciousness,” drawing from Matthew 5:13-16, Genesis 1:28, and Colossians 4:6. He emphasized the importance of recognizing believers as the light and salt of the world, living with discipline, and relying on faith to overcome challenges. Dr. Zheng also reminded members to balance professional responsibilities with personal well-being, aiming to heal both the body and soul of patients. The service concluded with a group photo and the distribution of pre-prepared gifts.

The meeting continued with reports from various departmental leaders, chaired by Dr. Liu Yue, General Secretary of SLS China.

A testimony session followed the reports, where five members shared their experiences of God’s grace and transformative moments in their faith journeys. The gathering concluded with a 20-minute prayer session led by Dr. Li Qian, focusing on the ten plans outlined by Dr. Zheng. Sister Wang Jiangxun, a newly appointed prayer worker, concluded the session.

The gathering renewed members in God’s Word, clarified missions for the upcoming year, and inspired participants through shared experiences and fellowship. Despite challenges, the event was a success, and members look forward to 2025 with strengthened faith and purpose. SLS China’s mission remains to provide both spiritual and physical healing, serving as a model for professional fellowships.
