It has been four years since Saint Luke Society pioneered Latin America and established a chapter in Bolivia. Since then, the mission has grown and expanded to neighboring countries such as Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina. On May 3rd, Saint Luke Society Latin America held its 4th anniversary service in Bogota, Colombia where members of SLS from different parts of the continent joined and celebrated together for what the Lord has done for the mission in Latin America.
The service was held at the Immanuel Church, the affiliated church in Colombia, which is also used as a mission training center. The sermon was given by Pastor Moises González exhorting the attendees to resemble Christ and shine his light by loving others. Dr. Venoni Miranda, the representative of SLS Latin America shared her testimony of leading the medical mission and gave thanks to God. SLS will strive to bring the Gospel to people by following the ministries of Jesus, which are teaching, preaching, and healing.
